This simple and easy to install LED ligh kit is a nice add-on, not only improves the insight to the water level in the reservoir, but it looks cool as well.

This kit is compatible with Classic V1, Classic Pro, Classic EVO or Pro/EVO models so as all Classic form factor machines (Selecta Deluxe, Coffee, OWC) apart from the Classic V2 produced for the EU market between 2015-2017, regardless of the “trim level” or other modifications already installed.

It is powered by a 12V DC PSU, which is also included in the kit (so it makes sense to pair it with my Comfy shot-timer as a bundle). The PSU is tapped into the switched mains, so the lights will only turn on, when the machine does. The LED strip has an adhesive backing for easy installation. It is IP65 rated, meanwhile the PSU has short circuit protection as well. All wiring complies with factory safety standards.
